ASSOCIATE, CLIENT SERVICE

Job Position: First Quadrant is hiring a Client Service Associate passionate about maximizing impact for our Clients, and providing an exceptional experience for every customer.

What you'll day day-to-day:
  • Develop client materials, including performance attribution, product education, & product positioning.
  • Manage special projects that enhance client relationships and retention.
  • Respond to Client due diligence requests in a comprehensive, succinct, and time-sensitive manner.
  • Create detailed customized client reporting, including development of cross selling materials.
  • Work closely with Research, Accounting, Risk Office, Relationship managers, Consultant Relations, Compliance and Trading to keep abreast of current processes, procedures, and firm initiatives.
  • Partner with Clients and Consultants to ensure the timely receipt and dissemination of client related information.
  • Prepare analytic materials, including charts and graphs for use in client related presentations.

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3+ years in Client Services, and 5-7 years experience in investment management.
  • Strong analytic skills, writing ability, detail orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, while effectively liasing with and responding to client, prospects and colleagues.
  • Project management mind-set, and the demonstrated ability to shepherd tasks and complex, projects to completion within tight deadlines.
  • Market awareness and intermediate to strong Investment knowledge required, familiarity with derivative instruments preferred.
  • Skilled at creating presentations and utilizing Microsoft Office, Satuit (CRM), accounting and reporting systems, in-house performance software, software and download connections with proxy vendors.
 

ASSOCIATE, COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Job Position: First Quadrant is hiring a talented and dynamic Compliance Associate, who demonstrates strong initiative, ownership, teamwork, and problem solving skills. This role reports directly to our Chief Compliance Officer.

  • Solid understanding of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940, as well as their underlying rules. A working knowledge of CFTC and NFA rules is also preferred.

What you'll day day-to-day:
  • Create the visual aspects of marketing materials and executes the production in house.
  • Tasks may include (but not limited to) information gathering, layout preparation, copying and binding, updates to standard presentations, publications, handouts, factsheets and spreadsheets used in monthly and quarterly reports using existing layouts and templates.
  • Prepare materials for marketing presentations, including gathering raw materials, creating/compiling slide presentations, producing and shipping bound presentation books.
  • Create advertising materials such as (but not limited to) email campaign layout design/analytics tracking, internal branding, and community outreach.
  • Partner with the marketing team on revisions and maintenance of the company's external website.
  • Develops and maintains company's Wikipedia Marketing page.
  • Maintain historical files of company advertising, brochure and presentation documents.
What you'll bring:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor/ Associate's degree in graphic arts, communications or related degree; or a high school diploma and at least two years extensive computer graphic training and/or experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proofing skills required.
  • Graphic and spatial skills, artistic/creative abilities, strong layout/typography skills, ability to do comprehensive design research are required.
  • A willingness to perform other assigned duties such as design material inventory, manage vendor relationships, copying, binding, and filing are required.
  • Highly motivated to continue developing current skillsets and attaining new skills.
  • Creating graphics in Powerpoint, Excel, and Word (2016 version).
  • Designing in InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop.
  • Work in PC user environment.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Drupal (or any CMS system).
